Taking street
art to a new, digitally advanced level.
New York City has always been an enigmatic
city with interesting individuals in it. Its every corner could tell an
interesting story as well. That has inspired the street art collective
community Get Up NY to create an interesting street art campaign on the streets
of Manhattan.
On the street art campaign, the anonymous
group printed posters of images that were posted on Instagram, pasting them
near to, or at the exact spot where the photos were taken to create a retrospective view for the users and an almost inception-like experience for the viewers.
The campaign also challenges Instagram
users all over NYC who wish to have their photos featured on the campaign to
post their pictures by adding the hashtag #GetUpNY to the photos that they
post.
