At some point in our life, we’ve probably
imagined an iPod made of cheese, right?
On lazy days like these, our minds tend to
wonder. One of those days, we probably imagine pairing up food items with other
inedible items as one. Well, web developer and designer Matija Erceg decided to
bring our (and his) imaginations to life by creating the Instagram account
@seriousdesign.
Erceg decided to start an account that
would display his creations of pairing two items together in one artwork. The
first time he decided to start this journey was when he happened to chance upon
a picture of a pair of flip flops with steak as its soles.
“I imagined what it would
be like to wear them. I wanted to evoke the same reaction of delightful disgust
in other people, so I set off on a mission to pair food and everyday objects
into ‘serious designs’,” said Erceg.
These wacky creations certainly make a
dull day at the office a little more interesting, don’t you think? Scroll below
