The hopeless romantic fashionistas in us is jumping for joy!
Being in this generation, we grew up reading Disney's fairy tales. From a very young age, we can't really help but be dreaming of our own prince charming to appear in our lives and that fairy god mother with glass slippers in tow. As we grow older though, we'd realise that the prince charming thing has become more and more unrealistic. It doesn't have to be the case for the glass slippers though.
In anticipation of the new live-action Cinderella movie; starring Cate Blanchett and Lily James that is being released soon, Disney has asked nine designers to design their interpretations of the iconic glass slippers. Not only do the designers get to design their re-imagined version of the sparkly footwear, those shoes are actually being produced and sold at numerous department stores around the world such as Saks Fifth Avenue in New York and Beverly Hills, Harrods in London, Galeries Lafayette in Paris and Isetan Shinjuku in Tokyo.
Thanks to the folks at Disney, it is no longer a dream for us to have our very own glass slippers. See below to see our favorite designs!
