Coffee is in Fact the Best Drink Ever

There are very few things in this world that are better than waking up in the morning to a freshly brewed cup of coffee, to energize you for the rest of the day. While the cup of Joe may not be everyone's cup of tea, most of us cannot even begin to function without serving at the start of the day. That is why we are so glad to find out that there is actually nothing wrong with drinking coffee everyday; and here are a few reasons why!

Coffee produces more antioxidants than anything else
Although too much caffeine is not all that good, a study done in 2005 revealed that “nothing else comes close” to providing as many antioxidants as coffee. Although fruits and vegetables are also great provider of antioxidants, it seems that the human body tends to absorb the most from coffee. The key is to keep everything in moderation!

The smell of coffee could lessen your stress
A lot of the time, it feels like 24 hours in a day isn’t enough for all the things you have to do. This sometimes will result in not getting enough sleep or sleep deprivation, and being sleep deprived could then end in stress. Researchers at the Seoul National University examined the brains of rats that were stressed with sleep deprivation and discovered that those who were exposed from coffee aromas experienced changes in their brain proteins that is related to the stress. Although, note that this aroma study doesn’t relate to all kinds of stress, but rather only to the stress felt as a result of sleep deprivation. Now, we won’t judge you if you want to put coffee beans on your nightstands!

It’s good for your skin!
As it turns out, drinking coffee could help you reduce the risk of skin cancer! Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School followed 112,897 men and women over a 20-year period and, apparently, women who drink three or more cups of coffee a day are much less likely to develop skin cancer than those who don't. Also, a study in the journal Cancer Research that looked specifically at the caffeine in coffee demonstrated that coffee drinkers have a lower risk of developing basal cell carcinoma, which is the most diagnosed form of skin cancer.

Coffee could make you more intelligent
Coffee is always most essential at the time when you’re sleep deprived. It turns out, that much needed jolt not only will keep you awake, but it makes you sharper too! CNN has reported that coffee will allow your brain to work in much more efficient and smarter way. TIME reporter, Michael Lemonick also says, "When you're sleep-deprived and you take caffeine, pretty much anything you measure will improve: reaction time, vigilance, attention, logical reasoning -- most of the complex functions you associate with intelligence."

It makes you happier!
This may be hard to believe, but it has been proven by a study done by the National Institute of Health; it was found that those who drink four of more cups of coffee were about 10 percent less likely to be depressed than those who don’t drink coffee regularly. And it’s not because of the ‘caffeine high’ either, as it relates to depression. According to study author Honglei Chen MD, PHD, the reason why coffee makes you feel good is because of the antioxidants in them! Mind-blowing, huh?

Well, what are you waiting for? Coffee is proven to be the best drink ever, and everyone should keep drinking coffee!
