Yes, it's true that the name BANKS wasn't familiar until last year. Although she hasn't released an official record just yet, we could listen to her two previous EPs "London" and "Fall Over" which are heavily infused by R&B tunes and a little bit of James Blake-y haunting electronic synth. Starting to put her heart out into songwriting since the age of 15, BANKS has always thought of her music as an emotional release. Apart from the EPs, the year of 2013 was such a breakthrough for BANKS, not to mention that she's been nominated for emerging artist in MTV and BBC and got the chance to tour with The Weeknd.
